Welcome, Kia Ora, Malo e lelei, Nisa Bula Vinaka & Talofa Lava!

For over 60 Years, the De La Salle Brothers and associated Lasallian Partners have worked to provide a human and Christian education to the youth of New Zealand.

The purpose of this website is to provide a shared space for all Lasallians to connect, collaborate and create community.

Three hundred and sixty years ago, our founding patron, Saint John Baptist De La Salle, had the inspired vision to establish schools for the poor and the marginalised in Rheims, France. Led in an imperceptible way by Our Lord, he transformed education and gave rise to a movement that has endured to the present day and continues to touch the hearts of young people around the world. As a gift to the Church, the Lasallian Charism aims to bring the Gospel to those who are far from hope and salvation.

The Lasallian Mission today has now spread to over 85 countries, 1100 Schools, 1 million students, 4500 Brothers and 85,000 Lay Associates! And the Mission continues to grow!

Here in New Zealand we have three schools that are the product of that vision. De La Salle College Mangere, Francis Douglas Memorial College New Plymouth, and John Paul College Rotorua.

All those that use this site, acknowledge that we are always in the holy presence of God, and continue to do all their actions for the Love of God. But most importantly, it is for those who remember to live Jesus in their Hearts.........FOREVER!!
